My name is Naomi Vega. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and moved to the San Gabriel Valley (Covina) in 1987.  Raised my sons there for the next 25 years and have been living in San Dimas California for the last

2 years. I have been producing art in some kind of form since I was a child, as far back as I could remember.

I would always receive fun, creative gifts for Christmas and my birthday. Toys like Spirographs,

Etch-A-Sketch or Lite-Brite, were always my favorites, (I just gave away my age). I remember being in elementary school being so excited for Friday to come, because it was our day for art. I loved using clay, drawing and painting. I had my teachers complimenting me on how nice my artwork was. When I was in

5th grade I won an art contest and my work was put in a real art gallery on Wishire Blvd in Los Angeles.

Fast forward 15 years and I would attend the Parsons School of Design, right across the street from the Art

Gallery I once had my artwork in when I was 10 years old...who knew!  I get my ispiration from Gods world around me. I am constantly observing my surroundings, from the architecture of a building to the colors of the sky. My travels are also a source of inspiration.
